Registration is open to all persons interested in the tropical medicine, malaria, parasitology, infectious diseases, zoonoses, veterinary health and travel medicine fields.

All persons intending to attend the Congress must complete a registration form. Please read the registration information below before you complete the online registration form. * To be eligible for a member registration, you must be a current member of The Australian Society for Parasitology Inc. (ASP) and/or the Australasian Society for Infectious Diseases (ASID) (full and associate members).
** To be entitled to the advertised registration fee you must have registered and paid by the official closing date for ‘Early’ or ‘Standard’ registration (AEST).
*** Students are required to send a copy of their student identification card to the Congress Managers via email to tropicalmedicine2016@arinex.com.au or fax to +61 2 9267 5443. Without this copy, the full registration fee will be charged.

Full Registration

The registration fee entitles all delegates to the following:

Student Registration

A student is defined as a holder of a student identification card from a recognised tertiary or secondary educational institution or international student card.  Students must be studying full time to qualify for the discounted rate.  Student registrants are entitled to the following:

  • All sessions
  • All official documentation
  • Delegate satchel
  • Welcome Reception
  • Poster Session 1 & 2
  • Delegate catering where provided

Day Registration

The day registration fee entitles all delegates to the following:

  • All sessions on the nominated day
  • All official documentation
  • Delegate satchel
  • Delegate catering where provided on the nominated day

Group Registration

Group registration is offered when a single entity registers five (5) or more participants. 

Group registration is available to assist organisations wishing to send multiple participants to the Congress.  A list of participants must be nominated when submitting the group registration form but can be changed.  The final list of participants must be emailed to the Congress Managers fourteen (14) days prior to the commencement of the Congress.  Please note that registration fees applicable for group registrations will be the fees as advertised at the date of payment of the registration fees. Registration Information

Registration confirmation
Your completed registration and successful payment will be automatically acknowledged via email with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form.  Your registration will only be confirmed on full payment of fees due.

Name badge
Each delegate will receive a name badge upon registration on site at the Congress.  The badge will be your official pass and must be clearly visible at all times during the Congress to obtain entry to all sessions and to social functions.  The Congress Managers expect appropriate behaviour from attendees and reserve the right to revoke the badge and privileges of anyone behaving in an inappropriate manner.

Credit Card
Please note all online registrations require immediate payment by credit card. Accepted credit cards are MasterCard, Visa and American Express.  Please note all transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to ‘Conference by Arinex’. If you are unable to pay by credit card, please contact the Congress Managers via email to tropicalmedicine2016@arinex.com.au.
Payment Options

 

Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Congress Managers via email to tropicalmedicine2016@arinex.com.au.

Registration Fees:
Cancellations before 1 July 2016 will incur an 100.00 Australian dollar cancellation fee.
Cancellations before or on 8 August 2016 will receive a 50% refund of fees paid.
Cancellations after 8 August 2016 there will be no refund.

Accommodation Fees:
A minimum one night’s deposit must be paid or credit card details given at time of booking to guarantee reservation. Deposit is non-refundable at 8 August 2016.

Social Tickets:
Payments are non-refundable at 8 August 2016.

Cancellation and Refund Policy 

 

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the Congress and book your travel you take out an insurance policy of your choice. The policy should include loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the conference, or through cancellation of the Congress, loss of international/domestic air fares through cancellation for any reason, loss of tour monies through cancellation for any reason including airline or related services strikes within Australia, failure to utilise tours or pre booked arrangements due to airline delay, Force Majeure or any other reason, medical expenses (including sickness and accident cover), loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. The Congress Managers cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. This insurance is to be purchased in your country of origin.

This information is correct at the time of publishing.  The organisers reserve the right to delete, modify or alter items or to delete, modify or alter any aspect of the Congress timetabling and delivery at their sole discretion and without notice.  Neither the host organisation(s) nor the Congress Managers will accept any liability for any loss or inconvenience caused to any party consequent to such changes.

Recordings / Copyright
The Congress Managers reserve the right to use any recordings whether audio or video and/or any photographs taken at any stage during the Congress for promotional, advertising or reporting of the Congress and/or its content at their sole discretion.
